Internal handling
With a RUNI compactor, companies can often save just as much on internal handling as on transport and disposal costs.

The solution
Have the staff who empty the fish and ice out of the boxes place them directly on a conveyor belt leading to a RUNI screw compactor. The compactor will start and stop automatically, as necessary. If the screw compactor is located close to where the boxes are emptied, staff can simply push the boxes along a pair of rails or a roller conveyor.
