The screw compactor compacts EPS dust in the
ratio 40:1.
This achieves a density of approx. 250 kg/m³.
The machine is shown here with a feeder hopper
fitted with a rotating sensor to control
automatic start and stop. EPS dust falls (unpressurised)
into the hopper.
The machine is fitted with hydraulic /
electronically-controlled jaws which allow it to
maintain an almost constant compression
pressure. The result is a 25 x 25 cm block which
weighs approx. 16 kg/m.
